How it works
How vision blinds work
The fabric runs in a continuous loop around a roller, so there is a front layer and a back layer. Each layer has alternating sheer and solid bands.
As the blind moves, the two layers shift against each other. Sheer over sheer lets light and view through; solid over sheer closes the gaps for privacy. Roll it all the way up for a clear window.

How is a vision blind different from a roller blind?
A roller blind is a single layer: up or down. A vision blind has two layers of banded fabric, so even when lowered you can choose between filtered light and privacy by shifting the bands.
Do vision blinds give full privacy at night?
With the solid bands closed, visibility is greatly reduced. Fabric density matters, especially with lights on inside after dark, so tell us where privacy is most important and we’ll suggest suitable fabrics.
Vision blind or Venetian blind?
Both let you adjust light without raising the blind. Venetians tilt slats to angle light up or down; vision blinds slide fabric bands for a softer, textile finish.
